My stay at Fujimien was a pleasing blend of tranquility and comfort. I appreciated the stunning view of Mount Fuji from my spacious room and private balcony. While the atmosphere felt slightly institutional, the cleanliness and helpful staff made up for it. Dining options were limited, so I recommend the dinner package, which was both delicious and plentiful.
My stay at Lodge Fujimien was a truly enjoyable experience. The friendly staff went out of their way to accommodate my needs, and the beautiful rooms offered fantastic views. While the breakfast wasn't particularly nice, the onsen experience made up for it. Overall, I'd highly recommend this place for anyone looking for great value in Hakone.
My stay at Fujimien was truly enjoyable, thanks to the stunning views of Mt. Fuji and the warm, considerate staff. I faced some discomfort with the firmness of the bed and encountered a smoky odor in my room, but the overall experience was good. The onsen provided a serene escape, and the traditional Japanese meals were beautifully presented, even if they weren't totally to my taste.
My stay at Fujimien was both nice and a bit quirky. I loved the traditional tatami room with its amazing garden view, and the Kaiseki meals were simply amazing. However, I struggled a bit with the straw mat smell in the room, which might be an issue for allergy sufferers.
My stay at Fujimien was a mix of good surprises and a couple of minor annoyances. The beautiful view of Mt. Fuji and the spacious room were highlights, but the smell of the tatami mats was a bit bothersome. The food was excellent, especially dinner, although the self-service aspect was unexpected.
